The information is largely based on work carried out by Met Éireann, the National University of Ireland Maynooth and material from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fourth Assessment Report. An expert workshop on climate change hosted by Met Éireann (12 November 2008) contributed to this material. Sectoral experts have also reviewed the source material used.
